It's truly a thrill to get all these chaps in the same group together. Mars' recent N.O. visits have included a quartet with Singleton, Cambre & Tim Daisy AND the Ayler Christmas group in which Mars/JS/RC were joined by Jeff Albert & Paul Thibodeaux, but this first-time QUINTET will be a WHOLE 'NUTHER THING with the majesterial precision of Dave Rempis' saxophonic brilliance and the incomparable depth & beauty of Hamid Drake's drumming taking things to unimagined heights.
